Therapy that meets you where you are.

At Grounded Roots Mental Health Counseling, I offer therapy for those moving through anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, grief, loss and life transitions. My work is centered on creating a grounded, supportive space where you can feel seen, understood, and supported as you reconnect with yourself and move toward the life you want.

Insurance

We are currently in-network with the following:

Aetna, Carelon Behavioral Health, Cigna and Evernorth, Optum, Oscar Health, Oxford, United Medical Resources (UMR), UnitedHealthcare UHC | UBH, Out of Network

At this time, I am not in-network with Medicaid or community plans, including community plans offered through insurance carriers with whom I otherwise participate.

For those choosing to self-pay or out-of-network options, my fee is $150 per session. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, I am happy to provide courtesy billing to help simplify the reimbursement process. Please note that any reimbursement is determined by your insurance carrier.

In-person Therapy

Here’s what we’ll do together

Therapy is a process. Over time, we’ll work together to:

Build insight and self-awareness by exploring your thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns with curiosity and compassion.

Move toward meaningful change by strengthening self-awareness, building coping tools, and reconnecting with what matters most.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

Past experiences don’t have to continue holding you back.

What we’ll work on

People come to therapy for many different reasons. You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, navigating a difficult life transition, carrying the impact of past experiences, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself and the life you want to live.

  • Managing stress, anxiety, and overwhelm

  • Navigating life transitions and unexpected changes

  • Processing grief, loss, and the many forms of change that come with them

  • Healing from complex trauma and difficult life experiences

  • Exploring generational patterns and family dynamics that continue to impact your well-being

  • Building and strengthening self-compassion

  • Improving boundaries and communication

  • Building healthier relationships

  • Developing coping skills and emotional resilience

  • Exploring patterns that no longer serve you

  • Reconnecting with your values, needs, and sense of self
